Good decisions start with good information.
Pre-owned luxury is not one-size-fits-all. The relevant checks differ between a watch, a leather bag and a piece of jewellery, so our process is category-led and evidence-led.
Identity
Reference details, construction, markings and other category-specific identifiers are reviewed.
Provenance
Receipts, service records, packaging and ownership history can add useful context when available.
Condition
Wear is described plainly, with attention to the areas that matter most for that category.
Escalation
Where an item needs specialist examination, that requirement should be made clear before completion.
No blanket claims
We avoid pretending every item can be assessed using the same checklist or that a short online description can replace specialist examination. When we make a statement about an item, it should be tied to the evidence and checks relevant to that specific piece.
Condition matters too
Authenticity is only part of a pre-owned purchase. Repairs, replacement parts, polishing, leather wear, hardware wear, stretching, missing accessories and service history can all affect suitability and value. These details should be surfaced where relevant.
Questions are welcome
If there is a detail you want clarified before proceeding, ask. A useful pre-owned transaction should leave less room for assumptions, not more.
